What can I say...Osmos is special. Eddy who is the main person behind Osmos invited me over to his place one evening and showed me a game that had big blue blobs absorbing big red blobs and asked me what I thought. I immediately had a lot of ideas and over the next couple of days we designed the whole look of Osmos and very little has changed about the look since then.
There was just no way we could have anticipated the success of the game. First it was winning at IGN, then it became the game of the week, then came the reviews
Then it was Game of the Year. An Apple Design Award followed, exhibitions at the MOMA, the Museum of the Moving Image, and the Hall of Fame.
It was just an amazing adventure that no-one who was involved up front could ever have imagined.
